This policy explains what we do with your personal data when you visit orlasnook.com or place an order. The data controller is Wickmore LLC (company registration number 2026-001909754), 5830 E 2nd St, Ste 7000, Casper, WY 82609, United States, trading as Orla's Nook. What we collect

Order information: name, delivery and billing address, email address, phone number and order details.
Payment information: handled directly by our payment providers. We never see or store your full card number.
Device and usage information: IP address, browser, pages viewed and how you arrived at the site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
Marketing preferences: if you sign up to our emails.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

To fulfil your order — performance of our contract with you.
To provide customer service — performance of our contract and our legitimate interest in supporting customers.
To prevent fraud — our legitimate interest, and our legal obligations.
To send marketing emails — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.
To measure and improve the site — your consent for non-essential cookies.
To meet accounting and tax obligations — our legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the providers needed to run the shop: Shopify (e-commerce platform), our payment providers, our delivery partners and carriers, our email marketing provider, and our analytics providers. Each processes data on our instructions. We do not sell your personal data.

International transfers

Some of our providers are based outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where data is transferred outside the EEA or the UK, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

How long we keep it

Order and transaction records are kept for as long as required by accounting and tax law, generally six years. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept for up to 26 months.

Your rights

If you are in the EU or the UK you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email orlasnook@proton.me and we will respond within one month.

You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority. In Ireland this is the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie); in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
