How to use it

Step 1: Prepare
1. Remove surface mud or dirt
2. Take out the insoles (optional)
3. Place each shoe in its own bag

Does it really clean them properly?

Thousands of soft microfibres line the inside and work over every surface as the drum turns. That is what lifts the dirt, and it is why you are not standing at the sink with a brush.

Can I put both shoes in one bag?

One shoe per bag gives the best result, because each one gets the full movement and the microfibres reach everywhere. Two will fit, but they clean less well.

Which colour should I take?

The yellow bag is for dark and coloured shoes. The white bag is for white and light ones. If you wash both at home, take the pair.

What temperature and what cycle?

A normal cycle at 30 to 40 degrees with your usual detergent. Nothing hotter, and no tumble dryer afterwards, which is what pulls shoes out of shape.

Will it damage my washing machine?

It is the opposite. The padded walls absorb every rotation, so the soles and the metal eyelets never make contact with the drum. It is quiet with it, too.

Which shoes can go in?

Canvas, smooth leather, synthetics, mesh and mixed fabrics, every brand and every size. Keep suede, nubuck and anything with glued-on decoration out of it.

How long does the bag itself last?

It goes through the machine with the shoes, wash after wash. Zip it shut before every cycle and leave it to dry open, and it will keep going for years.

Can I use it for anything else?

Plenty of people use it for football boots, slippers and golf balls. Anything that would otherwise knock around the drum.

How do I look after it?

Leave it open to dry after a wash rather than folding it away damp. That is the whole of the care.
